Privacy Policy
Top Thumbnail Tools keeps the data shelf as light as we can. We collect what we need to understand which articles readers actually use, and nothing past that. This page describes what is gathered, how it is used, and the small list of partners involved.
Information We Collect
We use standard web analytics — page views, referrers, approximate location, device and browser type — gathered through Google Analytics and stored in aggregate. Cookies are used to keep that measurement consistent and to remember basic site preferences. If you send us an email or fill out a contact form, we keep that correspondence so we can reply to it.
How We Use It
Analytics tell us which reviews and comparisons readers spend time with, where they arrive from, and which pages quietly underperform. We use that to plan future coverage and fix what is broken. We do not sell personal data, we do not build profiles for resale, and we do not share reader email addresses with anyone.
Third Parties & Affiliates
Outbound links to the tools we review may be affiliate links operated through partner networks. When a reader clicks through and signs up, the partner notifies us of the referral so we can be paid a small commission. Those networks see the click and the resulting account; they do not receive information you have not already given to the vendor. Embedded content (video, code snippets) may set its own cookies under the originating service's terms.
Your Rights
You can ask for a copy of any data tied to you, request its deletion, or opt out of analytics tracking via your browser's controls. For any privacy request, write to [email protected]. Last updated May 19, 2026.
